The meeting will be in the Patriot conference room at the CrossPoint Towers.  There will be signs posted at the main entrances that will direct you to this conference room.  CrossPoint, formerly known as the Wang Towers,  is easily located since it is the only tall building in the vicinity of the Interstate 495 and Route 3 interchange.  See the directions to CrossPoint at the end of this message.  The address for the CrossPoint Towers is 900 Chelmsford Avenue, Lowell MA.

The agenda for the meeting will be posted later.  There will be no meeting fee.

Mercury has made arrangements for a block of hotel rooms at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford, MA.  This block of rooms will be held until April 20, 1998.  This is the same hotel at which the March VSIP Meeting was held.  Please make your reservations early, as the local hotels are frequently fully occupied at this time of year.  Contact information for the Radisson is:

The rate for a single standard room is $89.00 plus 9.7% tax. The block of rooms is being held under the name "VSIP Meeting/Mercury."

Directions to the Radisson:

From Boston's Logan Airport, exit toward Boston through the Sumner Tunnel. Immediately at the end of the tunnel, take I-93
North.  From I-93 use exit 44B to take  I-495 South to Exit 34.  Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. The hotel is approximately 1/4 of a mile on the right.  This is approximately a 35 minute drive.

Directions from the Radisson to CrossPoint.

Upon exiting the Radisson, turn left onto Route 110.  You will travel approximately 2 miles. CrossPoint is the only tall (15 floors) building in the vicinity it is easily seen.  Approximately a quarter mile after the fourth light and  just past a Mobil station, you will find the entrance to the parking lot on your right.  Enter the building at any public entrance and there will be signs to the meeting room.

From Boston:

- Take route I-93 North to Interstate 495 South (Exit #44B will say Lowell).

- Follow I-495 South to the "Lowell Connector" (Exit #35C).

- Once on the Lowell Connector, take Exit #3, "Industrial Avenue."
  NOTE:  The Industrial Avenue exit is only 1/2 mile along the
  Connector.  It is the first exit you approach (even though it is marked Exit #3).

- At the end of the off-ramp to Industrial Ave., go right, driving
  under the Lowell Connector.

- Drive around the Rotary and stay on Industrial Ave. heading towards
  the three  large Cross Point Towers.

- Just before the buildings, you will find the entrance to the parking
  lot on your left.

- Enter the building through any public entrance.
 

From Hanscom AFB, Burlington, Waltham, Dedham, & Quincy Areas:

- Take Routes  I-95 (also known as Route 128) to Route 3 North (near
  the Burlington Mall).

- Follow Route 3 North to the "Lowell Connector" (Exit #35C)

- Once on the Lowell Connector, take Exit #3, "Industrial Avenue."
  NOTE:  The Industrial Avenue exit is only 1/2 mile along the Connector.
  It is the first exit you approach (even though it is marked Exit #3).

- At the end of the off-ramp to Industrial Ave., go right, driving
  under the Lowell Connector.
