VSIPL 26 February 2002 Meeting Announcement

There will be a one-half day meeting of the VSIPL Forum on the Georgia Tech campus from 1 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday, February 26th.  Note that this immediately precedes the VSIPL Tutorial and User's Conference, being held in the same location on Feb. 27-28.   The meeting will be in the same facility on the GT campus. Requests for agenda items may be submitted NOW to any of the co-chairs (myself, James Lebak, Rick Pancoast).  The agenda currently consists of the following two items:

(1)  Discussion and vote on process for completion and acceptance of draft VSIPL 1.1 API.  Current document is on the VSIPL web site.

(2)  Discussion of desirability of, and approach to, transitioning the VSIPL Forum to a "maintenance mode". Topics would include methods for responding to further messages sent to the VSIPL Forum; dealing with future errata without meetings; and determining criteria under which the Forum would meet again.
