11 December 2002 Meeting Announcement |
![]() |
The VSIPL forum has received a substantial proposal, developed under the high-performance embedded computing standards initiative (HPEC-SI), for a C++ version of VSIPL. The co-chairs are proposing that the VSIPL forum meet to review this proposal. A copy of the proposal will be made available in the 'core' area of the VSIPL web page.
The purpose of the meeting is to hold an initial review of the document. No formal voting will take place until at least three meetings have been held to review this document. As a reminder, the rules of the forum specify that an organization must attend two of three meetings, counting the current meeting, in order to be able to participate in a formal vote.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 11, at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA. This is also a meeting the HPEC-SI effort's development working group. More information about the meeting follows.
Agenda items:
(1) An overview of the proposal will be presented
(2) Several code examples will be reviewed
(3) Proposal issues that have already been noted by the HPEC-SI forum will be
reviewed
Location: MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lexington, MA

If you plan to attend, either by telecon or in person, please send email to James Lebak <jlebak@ll.mit.edu >
It is very important that you let James know in advance if you plan to come:
